Pittsburgh Ballet Theater - Apr 26, 2018

Pittsburgh Ballet Theater present an all American program with Fancy Free + West Side Story + In the Night. Artistic Director Terrence Orr worked with Jerome Robbins closely and company 17 year veteral principal ballerina Julia Erickson will dance all three ballets in performances at the Benedum Center beginning May 4th. They are en pointe with Jim Cunningham.

Violinist Andres Cardenes, who serves as Director of Orchestral Activities at CMU, will play David's Stock's Philosopher's Stone with AliaMusica directed by Federico Garcia de Castro on Chatham University in the Music Center on May 4th, 2018 . Federico and Andres remember their colleague David Stockin this conversation and explain the goal of Aliamusica, where the name of the ensemble comes from, and much more. The program includes Varese, Lutoslawski, Erin Rogers, John Arrigo Nelson, and a new piece by Federico.

Central Presbyterian Church - Tutto Italiano - Apr 25, 2018

Central Presbyterian Church in Tarentum wraps up their concert season Sunday April 29th with Warren Davidson violin, Justin Wallace, harpsichord and The Academy Baroque Ensemble to  present "Tutto Italiano!" - Baroque Music from Italy - at 7:00 P.M. Justin joins David Rankin from the church and Pastor Sara Wrona of Faith Community Partners to explain what the effort is doing for music lovers and the community.
