Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra BNY Mellon Grand Classics: Romantic Brahms
American conductor David Zinman joins The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra as they perform the third of four symphonies in the Brahm cycle, Symphony No. 3. The piece is followed by Strauss’ Don Quixote which features Maximilian Hornung, cello in his Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra debut and Randolph Kelly, viola. Both pieces will echo Heinz Hall with a gentle eeriness that will excite and ignite. Tickets start at $20.
